Aug 8th - Sam rolled in from another trip...yes, another. At this point he had been gone for 4 weeks with only 4 nights at home randomly in between. So needless to say we needed some time together away from the stress of life where there were no projects looming in the other room, no washing machine calling my name, no primary "stuff" hanging over my head - so we headed to where else...THE CABIN! My favorite place to get away!
Sam forgot a jacket, so he was sporting my dad's camo...stylin'!
We have told Steve and Heather all about the cabin and they had said they would like to go, so we all loaded up and headed out of town! It was a great weekend!

um I said the same thing to Rhett the other day, it has been forever. We should definetely try for this weekend or soon,real soon!!!
Looks like you had fun and it was a much needed time away together as a family. Good for you. I feel like I could use one too.
I miss the cabin, we haven't had time to go in a long time! :-(
We need a trip there, maybe once Bry can ride his cycle again, or skiing this winter, I'll let you know when we decide to go, maybe we could all meet there!Luv ya!
