I am going to let the cat out of the bag for all of those who do not know, my husband is Clark Griswold. He absolutely loves Christmas. We had our first argument about listening to Christmas music the day after Halloween. He got an early start on the Christmas lights this year because we got beat by the snow last year.
This is the before, and yes those are my children on the roof. My husband had talked it up all week that he was going to let them get on the roof with him...I thought he was joking. I found out otherwise.
Look how happy he is...he was in his highest glory
I just love his face in this one.
This was the finished product at the end of that night. I have yet to get pictures of what he has done since. We have lights around the door, on the bushes & trees and the reindeer are already on the lawn. He informed me he wants to get a whole herd of deer for the front lawn, if not this year then next. I was fine with just getting them up, but not him, they have been lit several nights. I am sure our neighbors all think we're nuts. He will turn them on and I will turn them off. I am not a scrooge...just wait til after Thanksgiving people!!!

It looks great!
Alert the papers! I see teeth in Sam's smile!!! A definate FIRST for me! I LOVE that picture! And I LOVE that Sam loves Christmas! You may be married to Clark Griswald, but it has to be better than being married to Ebeneezer Scrooge...aka..Brady Edwards. Holy cow! Nothing makes him ornery like Christmas does! That was so fun seeing you guys on the roof the other night! They look GREAT !!
I LOVE it!!!!!!
Your house looks fab Sam! I told my kids we were going to be putting up Christmas lights today and Bry's friend who was sleeping over said "ALREADY?", Just trying to keep up with the Griswolds!
Haha, I never would have guessed that about Sam! (I always knew that he was a softy in disguise!)
hahah..I have to tell you I saw your lights were on the other night and it totally made me want to turn mine on I even went home and told Cory we needed ours on cos other neighbors had them on. Oh and what I would GIVE to have Cory actually do the lights himself and not pay someone to do it!! Your house looks great by the way.
