Christmas 2008

December 23 - Making Cookies for Santa!!! Grandma Randall is always so good to let the kids "help". They make ginormous messes and have a ball! They made sugar cookies decorated Randall style with lots of M&Ms!! Kamryn was in her highest baking glory! Ellie sat on the counter with the empty bowl, licking it clean. Then she decided she was "cooking something" and had to keep adding "gredients". Her "gredients" were anything she could get her hands on. It ended up being a bowl with a little bit of left over dough, lots of salt and pepper, butter, water and hand soap! Yummy!!!
Grandpa was brave enough to try.....or at least pretend!

We were in Enterprise this year for Christmas Eve & Christmas morning. It's been a while since we went to the big Randall Family Christmas Eve party. Thank heaven's they have Santa come since I have been one out-of-it-mother, this was the first time my kids had seen Santa for the year!
Daxton is such a good sport. He is at that age that it's not quite cool to sit on Santa's lap anymore...notice his hands in his pockets and stiff posture.Kam did not want to go up for anything. She wanted me to go and get her present but I refused so she gave in much to her dismay. Ellie was thrilled! She actually ran up with a grin on her face with her arms out. Santa pulled her on his lap and made a big deal out of her. She told him that she wanted a Barbie Computer and Santa told her he didn't have any Barbies at his workshop as cute as her. WELL, she took that as he didn't have a Barbie Computer and it made her mad. She took her present and marched back to us where she proceeded to pout.

Ellie got a doll and decided that the best place for her was in Grandma's vacuum. The kids of course opened their Christmas Eve Jammies.
I'm not sure why, but these are the only pictures I got of Christmas morning. I am pathetic.Kamryn got her pink DS .Daxton got DS number 2.And Eliana got her Barbie Computer she was wanting. She was thrilled. No picture. I suck.

This is Carter playing with his remote control dinosaur. It was pretty cool. It was fun to be there with Sonny and Kim and their kids.

And Aunt Angel is always thrilled with whatever she gets!!!

It was a fun Christmas morning. It was white and snowy all day. I was worried we weren't going to be able to get down to St. George to see the other Grandpa and Grandma but we did. It just took a lot longer than normal!
