The Bow hunt

Sam and Dad both got tags for the bow hunt this year so we headed down to the cabin for the opening day. On the way down, Sam stopped at Cabella's for a couple of things and came out with camo for both the big ones. I was actually not shocked when Kami said she wanted to go...anything her daddy is doing she wants to do too.

The kids had a ball while we were up there. Daxton actually got up super early and went with the men and did really good. Kami waited til later to go.

Ellie didn't go deer hunting but she did sport her camo and do her fair share of getting dirty! She had a great time!

Grandpa painted up Daxton's face and he thought that was great!

Headed off to tromp through the forrest!

Ellie did a great job of eating treats and getting dirty.

And of course kept me thouroughly entertained!

Rylie did awesome. She was so happy and slept great while we were there! She's doing a great job of eating and growing and getting super chub!~

So there was no shhooting of a deer this go around for Sam. Saw some good ones but didn't get close enough. I guess we'll be going back for round 2 next weekend. I'm not so sure I want him to get one. That means that he has to touch it and gut it and all that disgusting stuff! He's going to have to take a bath in Lysol when he's done!!!
