For family home evening the other night we painted mini pumpkins. The kids had a ball. They love to paint ANYTHING.
Ellie actually did a great job of putting a face on her pumpkin, but she didn't want to be done painting so soon the face had disappeared...see the end result above.

Bet you didn't know I was married to an artist!One of his many talents he keeps hidden! We got a wild hair and tried to finally tackle this room that we both hate. We hung the candle things on the sides of the tv, painted the wall a brown color and did waynes coating (I'm sure that's probably not how you spell it)
It made the gigantor wall that we didn't know what to do with a little better. I blew up the picture of my kids feet with my little saying "all present and accounted for" (love it) and put a few shelves to the side.
It's slowly coming together. Needs curtains, new couches, new carpet, and more color.

Oh my gosh! That room looks amazing! Great job! Love the little Sconces by the tv! I loved seeing the pic of Sam doing his pumpkin with the kids! Too cute! He did an awesome job! Creepy pumpkin~

holy moly, i love that wanes coat more than anything, that is my favorite kind. i want that in my bedroom!! so stinking cute! i love it. can we come see it?
