So I am the room mom this year for Kamryn's class. Her teacher, Miss Thomas is getting married this week so we had a little wedding shower for her. These are a couple of the things that we did.
They each gave her a little advice which was pretty funny. Everything from make him food, to let her take a nap and drive the car. Kamryn said she needed to make the bed and he needed to fold the laundry!
I sent home a recipe card with each of the kids the week before and had them write down their favorite recipe in their own hand writing and we put them together in a book for her.
Another gift we made was an apron. We put their hand prints on it with her new name on it.
At the party one of the stations was to make her a wedding dress out of toilet paper. The kids had a blast with this.
They made her tissue paper flowers at another staion for her bouquet.
She is such a darling teacher! She was such a good sport and even wore her dress for the remainder of the day! Love her!
