On Satuday (the 18th) we went up to Karl and Jodi's cabin in Heber. Their family owns a TON of land up there and it is beautiful!
We went for a hike and Karl decided to be our photgrapher.

Love the poses they are striking in these!
Our kids had so much fun playing in the mountains!! It's so much fun seeing them enjoy time together!
This one was hilarious! She made Sam hold her while Karl helped the other kids fish. She kept yelling "MEE-MO (Nemo) Where are you?!" Then when the kids caught fish she would yell "Dare he is, it's MEE-MO!"
Could she be any cuter? Could they look any more alike?I love it because it reminds me of how much I loved to do this when I was little. I remember loving to pick them on Grandma and Grandpa Yates front lawn and thinking it was so much fun.
My kids were so excited to go fishing!!

Daxton was in his highest glory!I love that this kind of thing thrills him!

Even Kam had a great time! I love the truely thrilled smiles that come from the joy of accomplishment! I could squeeze her! Love that she gets into it and doesn't want to be a girly girl (some days). Karl made her kiss the fish that she caught because he said that is the tradition the first time you catch one all by yourself!
Ellie caught one while I was across the pond.
She pulled it out
And then the hook slipped out of it's mouth and it dropped back in the water! Not sure if she was more devistated that it got away or disgusted that it ripped out of it's mouth. She was done after this.
The kids thrilled on the rope swing!
I love this picture...she's in her own little world.

Andrea and RylieTwo people sit on opposite sides. Then you bend over and straighten to make it go.
It was so much fun to sit and listen to the kids - Ellie giggled her little heart out.

Rylie loved the rope swing too!
And threw a good tantrum when it stopped.
But then when we turned around she had swiped my Pepsi and was all better.
This picture would be a great Pepsi ad
Ellie gathered me an amazingly beautiful bouquet of wild flowers!
After all our fun we had some good "Hick Dogs"

It was a great day! I love spending time with my family and seeing my kids actually enjoy each others company!
It was a great day! I love spending time with my family and seeing my kids actually enjoy each others company!Just about this time Sam started having some major pain...Kidney Stones! I felt so bad for him. He never complains about anything and has a high tolerance of pain so to see him almost doubled over and moving like he's 80 is hard. We ended up in instacare the next day!
