So I haven't post for a week and here is why, It all started last weekend when we pulled all the doors off downstairs to paint them. Yes we are all moved in to the basement and the doors are not painted! We thought we would get them painted and re-hung before all of Sam's family came for his little brother Roberts wedding this weekend. Well....The story is this. Sam had them all standing up, in a zig zag pattern, nailed together on the top so that we could spray them all at the same time. (You all know that everytime I say we, I am really meaning Sam) Well, we got the first coat of paint on and it was time for lunch. Sam could see that we were not going to have enough paint for a couple coats and sent me for more. When I came back, the garage was shut. I opened it and went in through the garage as I always do and pushed the button to shut it as I went in the house. No more than I had entered the kitchen and we heard BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM... uh ya, the red emergency release handle that hangs down from the garage door had caught onto the doors and pulled the wet, tacky doors down like dominos!!!! It was bad. It cracked a few and pulled the paint off of almost all of them. NOT GOOD. So the entire last week was dedicated to sanding them down...down to nothing to start over. So, if you saw our neighbor Brother Waldron over here in our garage all morning one morning working, it was because he felt so bad for us that he insisted on helping sand some of them. There are 11 doors!!! THANK YOU Tom! Sam has worked extremely hard this last week sanding them back down. Once again I am so sorry! I know it was an accident, but holy cow, what a mess!

On Wednesday the 18th, Kamryn had her Preschool Graduation Program. She was so excited about the whole thing, and then when we got there and she saw all the parents, she had some severe anxiety. So we sat and watched the rest of her classmates perform their songs and get their certificates. Not so sure what to do about this. It's not the first time. If anyone has any suggestions on how to help her, please let me know! I feel so bad for her, I know she WANTS to but freezes when it comes down to it. Anyway, she went to Kindercottage Preschool with Cameon Patterick and we have loved it. She is the sweetest!

They read questioniares that they had done with the kids and they were pretty funny. They just read the statement to the kids and wrote down whatever they said...here is Kami's
Thursday night Sam's brother Bud and his wife Carmel and their two boys, Austin andn Levi came into town a day early for the wedding. We had a Pizza at the park and then hung out at our house. It was fun.
Friday morning we got up early and went to the zoo with our good friends Steve and Heather and Baby Talan. It was actually a great day. Everything went really smooth, the kids were awesome and there was no complaining! It was great!

I learned that this is what Dax wants for Christmas!!! Um, we will have to have a serious talk with Santa!!

I learned that Kami's favorite animal is a Giraffe!!
I learned that my kids really do love each other!! This just made my day!

We rode the train...
And the new carousel
The cute Woodward Fam!
It was lots of FUN!

Friday night we had a BBQ with Sam's siblings that had made it into town by dinner time. There were only 6 out of the 13 siblings, but it was fun!! It's always good together and even better when food is involved!

Sammy is getting to be a pretty good BBQ man! He has graduated from Hamburgers and Hot Dogs to Chicken and Brats!
The wedding was Early Saturday morning and I didn't realize, but I did a crummy job of taking pictures of the event. I really took a handful of pictures. I must have not been feeling well! This is the beautiful bride! She looked so cute! She will fit in great in this family with her darling personality!
This is Sam's little brother Robert. He is the handsome Groom! and This is the baby sister Angel! Isn't she so cute??
There is always laughing when all of these brothers get together! I love it!

We really have some of the cutest nieces and nephews you will ever see! They are adorable!
So there you have it. Our crazy week!! Sorry it was really an overload of pictures. There is a reason that I say that we have a crazy life! It is always eventful!

Ok the doors issue sounds like it was a complete nightmare. I did see Tom over there working. That is so crazy. I hope it all worked out ok. I have to say that Kami's preschool sheet made me laugh when she said that her favorite number was your cell phone number. Too CUTE!!!
Hey Marci! I don't even know how but I stumbled upon your blog. (We must know a mutual person somewhere here in Utah. I've found lots of people by blog-hopping.) Just wanted to stop in and say hi!
Oh, I feel bad for Kami - do you know one of my students did the same thing for graduation. I didn't find out until the next day, and it made me so sad. I think if the mom would have brought him up to me, I could have helped him relax about it - but who knows. She is such a cutie - I bet she'll just grow out of it.
I think that's the first I've seen Heather's little baby - so sweet!
