Our weekend started early because Sam had the day off Friday. We got up and since the kids are off track, Sam wanted to take them to a movie. We hadn't seen Wall-E yet, if you can believe it, so we went and got lunch and headed to the movie. It was cute but not my favorite.
We then headed over to Target to do some window shopping for Kamryn's birthday so we have some idea of what to get her. She is so easy going and so not specific as to what she wants. When we came out of Target we found a girl that worked there standing by our truck. She was all of 22-23 and BRAVE.
She walked right up to Sam and got in his face and said, "Were you aware that you hit my car???" (with total attitude) Our cars were facing each other and Sam was parked with about 4 inches between front bumpers. He told her he was aware he parked close but he DID NOT hit her. She said "oh yes you did and I have called Target security and the cops and they are on their way."
Sam was trying to assure her that he in fact did not hit her and she would not be convinced otherwise. I was completely flabbergasted and frustrated!! Sam got down and tried to show her that even if he had hit her that his bumper would not hit where the scratch was on her bumper. She wouldn't even look. And yes I said SCRATCH. It was rediculous. It actually looked like someone had walked past and scratched it, not like someone had hit directly. She admitted that she had been parked there since 7 am, it was now 5 pm but she was sure that no one else had parked there all day...uh how did she know? She was an employee who had been inside working all day.

Anyway, to make a very long story shorter...we stood in the parking lot for a LONG time while the Target security went and pulled back surveillence. A cop came and looked and the damage and rolled his eyes. He made us exchange information and just told us to fight it through our insurance. We stood there with the cop and two of the strip mall security officers and everyone driving by staring! Finally the Target security dude came back to inform this girl that Sam DID NOT hit her. HELLO!!! The girl had the nerve to hold up her information card that we filled out and said I will keep this just in case. Seriously the nerve of people!!! There is 45 minutes of my life that was wasted on a VERY rude person!!!
